Tried asking this question on an older thread without any luck.
We’re driving from Norway to the UK in the next few weeks so thought I could maybe order some parts before we arrive.
I’m looking at replacing specifically 2 of my door seals front & sliding door the gaskets attached to the actual van not the doors.
I see Veedub Transporters sell a set containing 2 front doors, sliding door + boot. Has anyone tried these? Are they any good?
I know there not specifically OEM but as long as they don’t leak like a sieve then it’s a bonus!
Any experience would be much appreciated.

Can’t you buy original OEM? Anything else will be inferior.

I Have changed front and sliding door seal on a T5.1 (purchased from eBay about 10+ years ago)

Used non OEM seals , listed as transporter seals with decent pictures in the listing, they were very good quality no issues.

One thing to check carefully is the profile of the sliding door seal, some sell a seal that is not the same profile as the OEM and it consequently does not allow the door to close properly. (Not fit for purpose)

I would assume veedubs have a decent product, speak to them to satisfy yourself that the profile is same as OEM.

That was sort of my feeling that if their spec / profile is the same as OEM then why not. I guess I could call them but not sure how honest an answer I’d get.

Look at the reviews, they look to be pretty decent, the reason to speak to them , is if the profile is not the same as OEM, and they tell you it is , then you get a refund !

Maybe I’ll try calling them before I order.
The only thing I can see (different) is on the left hand side of the profile here you can see it’s rounded. I don’t know if they all start out in life as round as that but certainly on my vehicle which is a 2017 that profile is flatter, and I’ve seen profiles online which say OEM and they too are flatter.
Would certainly explain people reporting the door with a new seal needs a good push.
