Roof mattress topper or new mattress. Suggestions

Is there a shallow mattress topper that can remain in place that might make the upstairs bed a bit more comfortable?
If not, who makes the most comfortable permanent solution?
Id appreciate your views.

Comfortz do a reduced depth upper mattress that can be used in conjunction with a Zonesleep meaning it can be left in situ with the roof down.
