Replacement/repair of control panel

Done the button/knob replacement unfortunately the unit only powers up now, (a ribbon clamp was broken?) I have message Electronic Equipment Repair, just in case there is no answer or its unrepairable has anyone bought the new control panel (7E7 906 453 C £1600??). Did it work? did it need configuring?? I have had to cancel my trip this week, because I can't pop the roof or use the fridge/heater etc. got another trip in 3 weeks and don't really want to cancel but need to be fully functioning. Or should I just take to the Dealership give them the headache and the £££££s. Its a 2019 Ocean

2nd Hand eBay from £750 or new from LLLParts for £925. No coding required. Just reinsert plugs smallest first, largest last.

Thanks for that think for price difference would rather go for the new. And certainly cheaper than £1600 quoted by VW just for the part. I have contacted them fingers crossed can get it sorted before going away in 3 weeks

Fantastic job done by Ed would recommend works better than when I picked it up NEW but dealership didn’t listen anywho it’s fixed and we are back on the road. Thanks again you’re a
