As the title.
I bought this kit a week ago and started to look at getting it wired in. The unit sits under the passenger seat where it requires a positive and a negative connection. A wire then goes through the grommet in the floor to the underside of the van and connects to the Webasto.
Simple, except on our van we have VB air suspension and all the gubbins for this sits next and around the Webasto making it impossible to do the connection without dismantling the air suspension stuff which I'm not prepared to do.
The big advantage of this kit is that it can be set to start up the Climatronic heating system in the van once the water is up to temperature. So you can sit inside at home, press the remote and when you are ready the engine and van will be nice and warm.
It comes with all the instructions for fitting. The only thing I have done is removed the positive connector and fitted a fuse which plugs straight into the fuse line under the seat.
So the brand new kit is for sale at £250, Ideally cash on collection from Matlock
