Rear heater panel question

Quick question. 6.1 Ocean rear climate control. The top two buttons circled. Do they press in when touched or are they fixed? The bottom ones press in. I’m asking as my grandchildren have been playing havoc in the back of the van and I don’t know if they wedged them in. Apologies to grandsons if I’m wrong
