Puddle Light ruined

I had some puddle lights put in by VW last October during its service.
Same ones as sold by VAN STYLE
I've only just noticed how crap they have become - you cant make out the logo anymore. Its almost like its melted or got water in it... just a blue and white blur.

Anyone had these fitted and found they ended up the same?

Individual (pairs) of the lamps are available from Chinese sites and probably the multicoloured auction site

Yes, I had a little google after seeing the cost of a new set but I guess I'd need to check the fitting of the cut out first... and connecting lead.
