I have the power sliding door on my new to me 2007 SE but it isn’t working.
It doesn’t work from the remote, the handle or the dash button.
The soft close function also doesn’t work.
And the van thinks the door is open so beeps at me constantly when driving with the door open light on the display and the interior lights on and flashing.
I’ve tried the 40amp fuse removal and have bought a new one to try.
Does anyone have an idea of what the fault could be?
Any help on this would be appreciated greatly.
Thanks

I see you're in Bucks , try Wooburn green VW Cliff Saville service advisor 01494 842611

Ask to speak to master tech of drop In on spec

I suspect your lock has failed - see t6 forum for lots of info - very common fault

Check the Bowden cable

So, a bit of an update on this.
I took the plunge and gained access to the power door control module, this is very conveniently positioned (in my case) not only behind the right rear quarter panel but also behind the rear aircon unit!
Anyway, after much swearing managed to unbolt it and slide it out of it position.
I found water marks on the plastic casing so took it apart to have a look inside.
Found very slight corrosion on the pcb and plug connections so gave everything a good clean and plugged it back in.
It all worked!
Power door slid along beeping away, soft close engaged, door open warning light went off, fantastic!
Tried it a good dozen times, all working well.
Started putting the van back together feeling pretty chuffed this may have saved me £500 plus, just about to put the panel back on and thought just one more try and it totally shat itself and stopped working again!
Looks like a new control module.

You probably have saved yourself £500 compared to VW Dealership prices.
