Can anyone recommend square shaped plates shaped plates that fit into the sink units

Best bet is google search.
They'll need to be about 24cms if you intend using the bowl. Maybe less as you have the cutout for the tap.
Quick look online and you can buy a 21x27cm one for about a fiver. That should just about fit.
