We're touring Hungary. Leisure battery is charging from alternator and on hookup so comfortably 13+ v but overhead control panel is showing --.- V and battery icon is flashing. Hence fridge is not switching on. Water pump is also not switching on but I think this is a separate issue, hasn't been used for several years, and water pump issue appeared before control panel issue. Just mentioning for completeness.also for completeness solar mppt installed recently but no issues with that. Lights and 12v supply otherwise working fine.
Any ideas most appreciated!

Sounds as if a fuse may have blown so the Control Panel feed from the Leisure battery is no longer.

I've checked the top one behind driver seat, 5A which is central electronics. It's fine. Don't know what other fuses it might be. AI tells me there's a micro fuse in the connection from earth shunt to control panel but I don't know where it would be

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the T4 electrical system but hopefully @sidepod see this post. He is familiar with the T4.

I’ve seen this and it turned out to be a dead leisure battery.

How come the German's are renowned for there logic yet can't design the Cali's electrics in a way thsg makes any sense at all.
It's like breaking your arm and sticking a plaster on your foot
