Hi all,
We're a family of Brits living and working in France for over 30 years.
I'm the proud keeper of a T7 Ocean 150 TDI delivered new in April 2025. "Keeper" because the van belongs to our eldest son who has already clocked up 18000km driving around France and beyond on weekends and holidays. My job is to keep the van at home in prime condition ready for his next adventure, in return for which my wife and I get to use it on the odd occasion it's available !

As you may notice from the photo, the van doesn't have a standard T7 colour scheme, white and green not being offered since the T6. So the green has been added by application of a coloured film onto a white van. Probably not to everyone's taste but our son is delighted with the van which suits his passion of rock climbing, hiking and generally enjoying the outdoor life whenever he can get out of Paris.
The last 6 months haven't been trouble-free though, having suffered very early from the well-known "repetitive discharged battery syndrome" (not funny when you're stranded high in the Swiss Alps ...) and increasingly frequently a blank infotainment screen which a software update at the local VW agent didn't cure for long. Hence we currently have no radio, no Satnav, no heater controls, no rear camera, no driving aids, etc. I'll post a separate thread on that in the hope that someone can give some guidance before our upcoming trip back to the dealer who tells us it's not a known problem.
We look forward to sharing our future adventures with you on this super forum.
And if you come across a white and green T7 having difficulty reversing into a tight parking space you'll know it's us
Cheers
Steve
