We got the FireAngel FA3322 Digital Humidity, Temperature & Carbon Monoxide Detector.
Bit pricey at circa £35 but its multifunctional with a 10 year battery which is about 1p a day over its lifetime. Sits in the the slidey out shelves just nicely to be usable and visible.

When you are looking, look for detectors that comply with EN 50291-2 (specifically for caravans, campervans, and boats).
Domestic detectors are often certified to EN 50291-1 (for home use).
The “-2” version means it’s tested for vibration, humidity, and temperature fluctuations common in vehicles
