Nets for cupboards

Hello. I can see this has been discussed before but I’m wondering if anyone has purchased storage nets or similar for the cupboards, particularly the top cupboards? If so, could you share a link? I’ve tried various bungee cords with self adhesive pads, etc but they tend to pop off after a while if things move around. Thanks.

Yep three screws each side, had to check length and use shorter ones if the partitions were really thin or not worry if there was another one going on other side
 
Just a follow up to this thread about nets for cupboards. I called VW parts today. They are £370 each for the left upper and lower cupboards. And for some inexplicable reason £55 for the right lower. This is not for a set of nets. This is cost per net.
Bungee cord, anyone?

Hi @VanFan Our GC600 arrived in January and I’ve come up up with a few bug-bare solutions. So much so, I’ve started an Etsy shop!

Hello. Thanks for this. I have tried lots of different methods now but have found that anything that is fixed by sticking eventually (or even quite quickly) pulls off even when following the advised preparation.
It looks like the lower ones are fixed via clips on top and bottom of cupboards? This would be good.
And the top ones are via sticky pads at top of cupboards and clips at the bottom? If so, I have purchased similar/same and it has not worked (as above) and I am considering using screws to fix it in place.

Wondering if anyone has screwed into these cupboards??

Hi. Yes, I understand your doubts on the matter of adhesive pads. All I can say in their defence is that I use industrial grade 3M VHB tape which as far as I am concerned is the best available.

However, if you are still not convinced, I can adopt the design of the upper part to enable you to screw them into the wooden cabinet frame. I just know a lot of owners are against mechanical fixings which leave permanent holes.

Yes, I have similar feelings about screwing things directly into the van.
 
Working well for me. Adhesion has been fine despite the interior of the van getting quite hot this weekend.

Also, the sill for the sink cupboard is working a treat. Fitted it last night and no water got inside this morning during showering. Previously, the loo roll would’ve been soaked!

Thanks Patrick. Mine have been up for a couple of months, through very low and now very hot temperatures. So personally, I'm happy to say the adhesion is fit for purpose.

I'd only ever consider using 3M VHB tape, as this is what I used on production items when working in the bathroom based manufacturing industry.

Hi Daniel. Maybe you could add the bathroom shelf clips to your collection of GC solutions. They cost £34 postage from Etsy.
