Does anyone know what this is?

Interesting... If there was a high temperature in the compartment, where/how would you be alerted of this?

Yes interesting. The wire connecting it is very light so possibly it sends a signal to the charger.

It does exactly that. It’s to regulate the charge sent your leisure battery when the temperature changes. All clever stuff.
