Camping with family and friends at Side Farm, Patterdale by Ullswater in the Lake District, which we have been visiting for over 20 years. The weather was not good, but that did keep the crowds away, as this campsite is usually packed in good weather. My long time tent camping buddy was both disapproving and envious of my transition to campervan life. It was lovely to be able to sit in comfort out of the rain, and the awning with side panel was a revelation.
