I removed the rear seats and parcel shelf in order to maximise space and minimise weight in order to move my daughter into Uni.

I was impressed with how much I managed to fit in the van.

Truly a multipurpose vehicle just what I wanted.

brilliant - I’m nostalgic for this time of year now mines finished, up & gone!

one of the things I’m most interested in with the new Cali is running with just nearside rear seat (and transport a bike etc inside) whilst still being able to support the lower bed on the the kitchen lower ledge once parked up - would you be kind enough to share a pic whilst you’re putting it back together please?

in that scenario one of us could sit on the rear seat (with more internal space) in lounge-mode whilst the other uses a swivelled front seat …

California Chris on YouTube demonstrated that setup I think, it works, you just have to be careful on the corner of the bed near the fridge as it extends out beyond the support so sitting on the corner isn't stable

Been there and done that with my daughters in the Beach!
Welsh gas is right, your daughter really isn’t trying hard enough to completely fill the van.
Room for several more IKEA bags of clothes / shoes / booze there!
In the case of my eldest daughter (just done the final move for her to start work now), the van looked like a mobile jungle she had that many pot plants…

No removable seat though in the T6s, so yes the T7 has that added flexibility

I think the extra space @WelshGas is referring to is for all the stuff she accumulates while she is away. Brace yourself! You may need a bigger van!

I’ve got a new beach which allows you to take the middle seat out too and offers even more space if you are happy with the rear pull out stove

Brings back memories when we did the same for our daughter - amazing, adaptable vehicle.
She went into ‘Halls’ for the first year then moved into rented accommodation with uni mates. She actually moved x3 times. The properties weren’t always available on the day of moving out so we used a drive away awning to temporarily store the ever increasing pile and she slept in the camper with us until we decanted back into the van to move her back in. Happy Days!
