When we go on holiday (not in the van - sacrilege I know!) we're packing cube people - for a family of 4 having 1 or two cubes each which compress down is brilliant for staying organised and keeping everything together.
Having tried using the window storage bags as they cam we found VW's attempt to make them organised a pain and not very practical for use.
I had a bit of the look at the weekend and realised you can you unzip the various internal pockets to take out the bits of plastic they use to add structure to the shelves / dividers. This left just a couple of stiches at the side which Mrs H unpicked so now it's just one big space which is perfect for loading up with packing cubes. Shouldn't be too tricky to return it to "factory" if ever needed but it's worth it either way to suddenly have a space where we can store a week's worth of clothes.
