Hello i have a problem i cant solve.

My old leisure batteries in my T6.1 froze this winter. The display said Batterly low charge now.

I went to a dealer and got them replaced 2x 80ah AGM Nordmax battery .
Everything fine so far but the car dont accept it.

I see the voltage goes up to 14.2V 2A. But the car still dont recognise them as new full batteries and the panel dies when i turn of the car.

I heard you need to register new battery and i have the OBD11 followed instructions for Gateway: Adaptation and change the value to 80Ah old value was 75AH. But still nothing. And the cells wont come up and it has the red triangle. And warning for low battery. See pictures.

How do i reset them and make the car to accept the new batteries. Vw dealership couldmt help me up north in sweden becaise they havent worked with campervans and leisure batteries.

Any solution? How to do when replacing batteries that are completly dead to new ones. Please

As far as I am aware only the Engine battery has to be coded to the vehicle, Not the leisure batteries.
The Control Panel doesn't seem to see the Leisure batteries so, Are they Correctly fitted?
Also have the fuses from Leisure Circuit to Control Panel been checked for continuity?

You are perfectly correct thank you. I did change the values and coded it for my leisure battery but nothing happened. Thats why it was for the engine battery.. i hope i didnt mesd anything up. I changed back to old values nos 75ah fleece battery and JCB. Also dubbel checked the enginebay and it was JCB battery so i think i reseted it.

When it comes to leisure batteries i gave it about 1 hour went out to check and it was finally working. The triangle was gone and it said i had 50 minutes on battery and no more warning lights.

I gave it 1 hour more and now it says 21h and i have 3 cells for the battery now so its rising!

I dont know what i did but i guesd i just needed to wait for the batteries to get accepted and then they started to live again ..

Thanks for the info about starterbattery i did not know the coding only was for that.
