Leisure batteries replacement VS solar panel

Hello, I've had a solar panel from Roger since 2021 and I'm very happy with it.
Today I need to replace my auxiliary batteries. For safety reasons, should I disconnect anything on the panel's circuit before removing the batteries?
I also sent my question to Roger, but I think he's often very busy.

Here is his reply : " Hi Michel, just remove the fuse in the solar battery cable. That’s all "
