Lane assist

My23 Cali 6.1 ocean doesn’t have lane assist but has side assist.

I thought the 6.1 automatically came with lane assist ?

Is not on our MY24 (with side assist). Thank God! Hate it when have driven other cars with lane assist.

Same with mine and wouldn't want it either. Driven many cars with it and its not for me.

Cheers everyone. Had a look around other threads and it seems VW stopped including it to speed up the build process

Hi Dippa, I have a 73plate Ocean I bought new that came without Lane Assist, even though all the reading I had done before the purchase suggested it did. My local dealership agreed and retro fitted it after showing them all the sales pitch. You're right they did stop including it for the last models of the 6.1 but is it just to speed up the build?
