We never been to a meet, I would like to come, are GC included? We have been to the site before in the winter, it was nice because all the statics were closed but this time it's school half term.
Is the rest of the site open?

Not sure about the site but of course you are welcome to come along

As Kev says everyone is welcome, we actually have a couple Grands coming too, site should be nice and quiet

First message i've posted on the forum since joining and buying our California (T5.1) in August. We are coming and cant wait to meet all you fellow Cali owners. See you Friday.

We will also have a brand new all new California on display to look at on Saturday courtesy of Breeze Poole

Assume you all got the same message about the weekens weather? This will be our first time (with a pop top) camping in strong winds. Will it be a bad idea to have the top up in these conditions? I notice the message from the campsite stipulates "pop tops down".

Hi Parkx
We found there are certain things you can do to assist with high winds and pop top. Park low down in the campsite . tail into the wind or the forecast wind direction. On a grass ‘park anywhere ‘ site that is easy particularly if you use the compass within the dash. On a site with designated pitches you may get a choice and can select the best to suit.
Here is the forecast highest wind.
Parking behind shelter like trees etc can work.
Ask for assistance if you need when you arrive
Paul

Hi everyone , we have spoken to the campsite today and due to the bad weather that is expected this weekend along with the exposed location we may have to reschedule this meet

Please keep an eye on this thread as we will update it tomorrow morning
