Less Franchised dealer = Less competition (No discount sellers) = Fixed List pricing regimen

First stage in “control” by the manufacturers. Easier to dictate to 10 dealers than 30. Next stage, fixed price probably on line from VW. Dealer acts as an advisor on spec. Already the system on Mercedes, how does the OFT let them get away with it?
