How to pop off door step light unit?

Hi, anyone know how to pop these out? I bought some replacements but I can’t get the old ones out, tried plying it out with a thin plastic thing but don’t want to damage the surround they’re not budging

I took mine out with a very thin jewelers style screwdriver. I very carefully took it out from the side of the stair light. One side has a spring clip and the other side sort of hooks in if I remember rightly. If you look at the new one you are fitting it should make sense.

Thanks, done it, used an only business card to protect the plastic surround whilst prising them out.

That’s one thing that’s been bugging ever since we got the van as a used van, looks so smart now!

Yep I replaced mine too as they were scratched and didn’t look very nice.
