I drive a 2022 VW California, and after the winter break I discovered that the fresh water pump had stopped working.

Thanks to the excellent advice shared on this forum, I was able to diagnose and fix the problem myself without too much trouble. In particular, the step-by-step method described in the article by Maxi-Mizer worked perfectly.

I ordered a replacement pump from Amazon and completed the job in about 1.5 hours. In the end, it turned out to be a fairly straightforward repair and much easier than I had initially expected.
