Our GC600 is "parked" in a large secure hanger out of town (we live in a flat) - no hook-up available. The leisure battery shows empty on the screen after a few days. How long on average does it take when driving to recharge the battery fully? Is it best to engage the charge button on the dash all the time? Also when we leave the vehicle for a week or so should we do anything apart from turning off the fridge?

Turn the big red switch off in the rear electrical cupboard as this will slow down considerably battery discharge. You should avoid letting it go totally flat (no lower than 50% is normally recommended for lead batteries). The alernator will charge it to 80%, and then dash button should be used to get it to 100%. Don't know how long this takes.

I have found a minimum fo 90 mins to get some juice in the leisure battery. If you are not going to use it for a week or more remove one of the battery clamps ie: disconnect it.

Yesterday after a 3 hour drive the battery was up to 70% with the booster on. For the moment we won't be leaving it parked for longer than 3 or 4 days, then heading south for a few weeks.
