Soon I leave this part/thread. We just decided to move forward/backward to a new van (new to us). It's going to be a 6.1 Ocean, 5 years old and around 60k Km - let's start the journey again.
Our van has done 264 k km in 21 years (Mai 2005) and it we definitely going to miss some parts of it.

Mine has over 300000 still a smooth runner and I trust her te get me anywhere i need. Only had two issues. The oil cooler coil went last year so that wasn't nice. Had to do a full engine flush and replace the part. And the non return fuel valve in the tandem pump has gone so that would meen a new pump but I will be getting around the starting issues with an inline valve when I get the time. With regular oil changes and use good quality fluids and premium fuel she will last forever.

My 2006 has 343,000, two water pumps, one alternator and a cracked manifold which I will change one day. EGR deleted which you can do on the older ones without needing a remap, three sets of brake discs in my ownership, the genuine ones were the worst. has some oil leaks now not severe. Goes like a rocket.
