Hazzard lights going off when our T5 engine is off? Anyone had this problem that can let us know why? We have had to disconnect the battery for now.

Our 2009 T5 sport Hazzard lights keep going off while the engine is off? We have had to disconnect the battery for now. Anyone had this problem & know the solution please?
Also if there is a VW Camper specialist near Enfield ? Or would any VW transporter garage be able to fix it?

I think a whole lot more info is required here?

Engine off/Key out or just turn the engine off?
Doors locked?

My money is on a possible immobiliser issue.

I suspect you’re not about to start investigating yourself so any half decent garage will do.

I too have a 2009 T5.
I too had the hazard light going off for no apparant reason, with engine off and all doors locked.
I disconnected the battery and then phone LV whome I had breakdown cover with. They said all they would do is disconnect the battery, then reconnect. I reconnected the battery and have not experienced the problem again.
