Part of the problem with these showtrays is that they're supposed to be weighted down when they're sealed. If they're not, then they pull away under the weight of the user.

Once they've sorted out what sealant is needed, it should be weighted either with the technician standing in it or with a suitable ballast.

Doesn't account for why the walls and rest are parting company.

This is all a bit concerning. Mine will be due in for small crack repair by vent soon-ish, which will entail deconstruction of bathroom. Makes me question whether getting it done is worth the additional problems.

Why wouldn’t they seal all the way round?
