Gear knob surround replacement

Hi all just checking has anyone ever replaced the T 6.1 auto dash gear knob surround and how easy or not it is to do also where would you purchase it for.

Afternoon,

Your best bet is to give your local VW Van dealer parts department a call, give them your reg. number and they will be able to get you the correct part and a price.

In terms of removing the old one, it should be pretty easy with some plastic trim removal tools; or you could just ask VW to replace it for you if you are a bit nervous about doing it yourself, it will only take them a few minutes so the labour cost should be minimal.

Automatic transmission inside cover replacement

Has anyone ever replaced the outside cover around the auto gear stick as ours got damaged when ladder to upper bed slid when trying to climb.Would anyone have part number and is it involved to change please see pictures
