Can someone give me some information regarding the large cutoff switch (red = off) in the GC 600 electrics area? Is the switch before or after the battery? In other words, if the switch is in the off (red) position, does the battery still receive an external charge? And in the off position, is there any output from the battery to any devices ? It seems that some things in the cabin still receive power when the switch is off. Also, does anyone know if the solar panel is before or after the switch? Thanks for any advice!

As far as I understand it, the EHU still works in charging the vehicle/leisure battery and the dash 12v's work too. We don't have solar so unable to advise on that. I'm looking at a Winter turn off (main switch to red) but am still researching what is best for the GC when not being used for probably 3-4 months. Any further advice welcome

All the 12V in the cab area runs from the starter battery. Solar and EHU charging is independent of the red switch which in the OFF position will reduce the background draw.but does not zero it. For an extended period like 3-4 months you will need to consider both the starter and leisure batteries and other things like water if over the winter months. If you can leave the GC on EHU that will look after both. Theses guide may offer some additional pointers.
