Jealous that’s all

You were supposed to invite them in, give them a tour and feed them!

He's always wanted one and she is yet to be convinced and they can't afford tickets for the NEC!

I find it is better to just laugh at them and try not to communicate, there's is a foreign tongue to non conformists like us.

What is even laughable is when you pitch up and because you have a continental van, your door is on the wrong side you spoil the nice neat rows!

I have had lots of comments that relate to the colour of my van. People say nice colour. I don't like to say I did not choose the colour I brought this one because it was cheaper than others available. When it is hot I wish I had a white van.

I look at other vans at campsites and am amassed how tidy people keep them, mine is always disorganised. When we take the caravan with us we get nice remarks about the caravan and the van. It is just a nice way to say hi to people and a change from "nice weather today"

Yes having the door on the other side can cause a problem sometimes but now we have a basecamp caravan as well we also have the problem of having a rear door.

Snap, we used to have a basecamp2 towed behind a beach, transport and accommodation for six.
Traded both in on the motorhome, door still on wrong side.
Apparently on some sites the basecamp and the beach had to be on separate pitches and pay twice!

Only 2 of us so sleep in the caravan and van is just a tow car. Some sites only like a caravan or a van to be habituation apparently it is due to fire brakes between where people sleep. I use the van as my normal transport and if I go to a site by myself. I notice you had Eribas , we had one for a long-time so the basecamp is still in a learning stage.

Bland or devoid of colour. Cool or arctic blast.
I know which I would rather have.
Stay cool.

It sounds like the couple both love the look of the van but the wife would pick a different colour and isn’t that one of the joys of the VW, we’ve had such a wide range of colours over the years.
Personally I love the look of your van, I think of the variety of white on vans from glacier white to more of a bone white gives people so much choice.

I don't think Calis really stand out regardless of colour. They're a mass produced item living in a world of endless customised converted vans!

Making efforts to get ours looking a little more modern by putting nice alloys on (feel like a heathen for even mentioning lol) and getting the silver bits wrapped, painted or anodised black + full tinted windows in living area.

Even the interior is dull, but can spruce that up with some colour!

What an amazing spec they have though!
