Fridge Fault

Red Warning Triangle against the fridge in my 2022 Cali Ocean so fridge won't operate. This is the only feature on the control panel affected. The control panel has no diagnostics feature so I cannot pinpoint the cause of this issue. My battery level has been consistent at around 12.8v. I pulled out the four in-line 25a fuses and replaced them after 5mins but this did not clear the problem.
Has anyone else had this occur who owns a similar age Cali? And does anyone know what my next course of action should be? I'm loathed to go to my nearest dealership as I have little confidence in them due to past experiences! I am sure it is just a glitch as the fridge worked perfectly up to this happening. Any guidance or help would be really appreciated.

Do you have a T6 or T6.1?

Would disconnecting the engine battery negative terminal re-boot the control panel? I read this somewhere in a club forum. I am touring soon and hope to get the fridge up and running again!

Hi,
We’ve just come back from a four week 2.5K mile trip which included Salzkammergut, Croatian islands x2 and The Dolomites. At the start of week three I had a notification that there was another software update. After that the fridge and Camping Mode started to play up. Whilst on EHU the fridge unexpectedly turned itself off but could switched back on each time. Also Camping Mode stopped without human interference.

On return I booked the van into Breeze VW dealership (still under warranty 2024 T6.1) and have picked it up today after they’ve played with things for several days. The upshot is that the fridge is ok but the software control systems were apparently all over the place with the system incorrectly measuring voltages causing things to switch off. U

Yet again it appears it was a “software” problem and although not proven, the timing of the onset of the fault may have been due to the software update. Breeze have done a clean software update and checked all the sensors so I hope everything is now ok.

Has anyone noticed issues after software updates?

Didn’t notice any of these problems after recent updates.
