First Time California Owner and New Member

Hi All,
First time California owner here, new to the site and forum, based in Kent in the UK.
I've previously owned lots of earlier VW's including aircooled Beetles and T2's, a T3 Karmann Gipsy and an LT35 coach built, used to work in the VW parts industry for 20 years, now upgraded to an earlier model 2006 T5 California, very excited to be a new owner and looking forward to many trips away both UK and Europe with my sidekick cocker spaniel Toby.

I am sure that you will appreciate the relative luxury of the T5 Cali compared to the T2 but don't expect anyone to smile and wave...ah, those were the days

Haha, funnily enough on the drive home from picking up the Cali, I actually got 2 waves from fellow T5'ers, took me by surprise, hope my unexpected return wave spasm didnt look like I was having a stroke, but it made me smile

Thanks, yes I've been browsing lots on here already, some great info He is for sure, got his front seat bed/road trip viewing platform all buckled in and installed heavy duty water proof seat covers front and back as the fancy Scala seat trim won't look great for long with a spaniel
