Why not pay in the £37k from the shares at the start and save 5 years of interest on that amount?

Shares might grow more than the percentage APR on the PCP, but always a gamble the way the stock market currently is with world events.

That may turn out to be a great deal if technology moves on quickly. I think I'd sit tight on the pcp for a bit to have that guaranteed residual.

Volkswagen charge about £15k interest payments. They’re well protected…

Technology won’t move on that quickly, Volkswagen have an interest to protect. The next gen in 3 years might have a range of 300 miles compared to the current 250 miles. But again, the new price will have increased to suit…

There are only about 14 hydrogen fill up points in the UK.

Stick with the expensive diesel for the next 10yrs.

I read that during the lockdowns when everything stopped, the usa had a 13% decrease
in carbon emissions.
Thats when everything was stopped, so how can the forecasted target be realistic ??

That’s correct, and Globally it was 6.3% in 2020.
