I'm so hacked off with my dealer and for so many reasons. I'm sure I'll be writing it up on here soon, but what is at the forefront of my mind right now is if I should be worrying / doing anything regarding an error message that appeared on my screen when I put my key in the ignition while on the dealer forecourt :

The customer service person said that it was ok when she drove it a moment before. When she inspected it with me she re-started the engine a couple of times, but the warning continued. She took it to her technician, who was a non California specialist (more on that in another thread I'm sure), who apparently did the same thing and hey presto! No error warning. "Sorry, we don't know why it did that, but it's ok now so..." I was already feeling gutted that I had entrusted my vehicle to them for many other reasons that I won't go into now and had already complained to the manager there about other issues. I just wanted my van back and to be able to take it to someone else that knew what they were doing, so while I expressed my lack of confidence in the vehicle, I drove away feeling utterly sick and depressed by the whole experience with them - again, mainly due to the other treatment that I and my van had received.
Anyway, I don't want this to turn into just another "my dealer is a **** rant", not yet anyway
. Does anyone know if this is a common issue? Or, if I should be concerned? (The journey back was without incident and I didn't get the same message when I checked a moment ago.)
