Afternoon. Just back from a cracking weekend at Blair castle. However there was something odd happening with the electrics when on EHU.
Initially not registering the hook up and not going into camping mode. Did the red switch trick and that was sorted and electric heating selected.
However the usual battery green lights showing charging were not moving.
Next day the electric heating stopped working and went to diesel. Did the red switch a few times before it worked again. However the 3 pin sockets for 240 C were working fine.
Tried a different electrical hook up and no different.
Electrics working but battery not charging. Dropped to 40% then 20% though this morning it was 30%. Still no sign of charging.
In the sun it went back up to 40% though not showing usual charging.
Drove back down the rod and charger up to 90%.
I’ve to take the van in to get a window changed -!: the black wrapping on one side replaced so can get them to have a look but wondered if anyone had experienced anything like this. Maybe a fuse for charging from EHU? Presuming it will all be covered in the All in one extension I took out.
Thanks.

Have you checked the connector on the EHU charger - located under the passenger seat - can work loose and would mean the leisure battery will not charge and the GC would not be aware of the EHU connection. You would still have 230Vac at the outlets. Heating may be a bit confused as the Truma would still know EHU present but not the GCs electronics.

Great shout. Thanks. Just checked and you’re correct.
