I currently have a 300W solar setup with an EcoFlow DELTA 3 and I’m considering adding the 800W EcoFlow alternator charger.

I’m deciding whether to connect it to the split charge relay under the left seat or directly to the leisure battery bank.

If I connect it to the split charge relay, I understand I may be able to send energy back towards the starter battery. But if I connect it directly to the leisure batteries, would that also allow me to transfer energy from the EcoFlow back into the leisure battery system?

When driving, will the leisure batteries still take priority over charging the EcoFlow, or could the EcoFlow system draw power first?

If I’m parked up with no solar input, is there a risk that the EcoFlow could drain the leisure batteries significantly while trying to charge itself, potentially leaving them depleted?

What I’m aiming for is a flexible setup where my 300W solar charges the leisure batteries, any excess energy can also support the EcoFlow, the EcoFlow charges while driving, and I can optionally reverse charge back into either the starter battery or leisure batteries depending on the setup chosen.

Any help or advice appreciated
