I had a DSG oil change done by the VW dealer in Sicily. It now appears upon return, that 2500 KMs after that oil change, the system threw off an error for overheating and did that another 17 times over a period of 3 months during which I did some mountain driving. In the meantime I am at 10000 km after the DSG oil change. The read out only shows first time that error occurred and how many times thereafter. I have never noticed any issues in driving behaviour. The van is a T6.1 , 7 speed automatic , 4 Motion from November 2023.
The garage erased the codes and I drove another 200 km, mostly highway doing 50 mph, no code appeared after scanning this morning, the garage says *just continue driving and come in for a read out so every now and then".
Anyone that can offer any insight or has any ideas. I am contemplating having the oil change done again as maybe the oil level is borderline? Does that make sense?
