So recently purchased a second hand Vango Air Cove TC with all the gear to go with the Cali. Thoughts were it will serve the 3-4 nights stay. We recently went back to a camper from motorhome as prefer the grab and go flexibility, and we have electric bikes to get around. I also want an awning room so sides and front, and hillcrest/fallcrest, or comfortz room fitted bill. Then have just seen Outwell Backroads and questioned the need for the driveaway. We don’t really stay any longer than 3-4 nights in one place, and I’m still not sure this justifies keeping it v spending a bit more for a decent awning room. We have dogs so it’s good to have an area secure rather than open bits like the fallcrest or cysgod. I like the ease of putting awning room as well, and the space saved. However worried about leaving awning out in bad weather, and having at least some storage space/ somewhere to sit that’s not in van.
Options
1. Retain air cove and purchase backroads
2. Ditch both and purchase a totally secure awning room e.g. comfortz or other suggestions
3. Sell air cove and purchase backroads
4. Retain air cove and purchase hillcrest
5. Something cracking idea I’ve missed!!
Help!
any support making decision appreciated.
