Drive away awnings for the T7

Nice, so you don’t use the awning to attach, just the hole in the metal strip to attach a driveway segment.
You use 10mm. (6 + 4mm to put into the channel ?)
I didn't use a drive away kit on this occasion, I used the existing strip on the awning, however i see the benefits of a the drive away kit I will pick one up next time I'm near a go outdoors. Currently I drive away very slowly whilst my wife slides it off. Reversing slowly back into the same position is tricky and could potentially cause a divorce or worse I could damage my awning.

lol. That made me lol.
:D
so your awning has two kador strips, a 4mm and a 6mm, as the hole in the channel is 10mm so I thought you have to put both in the one hole to make the 10mm so it doesn’t slip out ?
Which makes for a tight re-entry ?

Any reason you didn’t use the awning kador 6mm hole ?

This is an example from the forum shop, it fits between your awning and the vehicle allowing you to quickly remove the grey plastic ‘figure of eight’ thingy (which are usually in shorter sections) and simply drive away.

So this is what I need instead of how I just tried it with a 7 to 5 (or as it says on the instructions 6 to 4mm)

The 6mm does pull put of the side channel.
Like it needs another bit of 4mm shoved down it.

Glad I kept my 2nd hand £200 vango tolga sport.

Doh!
SWMBO asked me after we had put everything down.
Why do you need to buy a triple kador ?
I said I need to put the 6 & 4 together to slide in.
She said why don’t you just use the one in the bottom.
Doh.
I said it’s because I’m too tall and you’re just the right height to see it.
So there we go.
Sorted.

All I need are the things to stop the Figure 8 sliding out and one and stop to stop the kador sliding out the back.
The fronts closed off.

That does help thanks and is about in like with what ive seen.

So will you extend the wind out a bit, or just have the drive away on the right hand side of the van? I'm feeling like that could be easier but not sure if that's based on any kind of reality
Driveaway on opposite side to wind out. Driveaway is on “kitchen” side on ours
