So after repairing it already I've lost my patience and complained to VW. The passenger side brown drainage tube from the roof is once again leaking rain into my footwell. This is a common design fault (mine is a 2010) and I've had enough. If they can repair roof corrosion after recognising it as a fault (mine has had the repair for that in recent years) they can bloody well recognise this as a design flaw.
It's been repaired before but after seeing all the times others have dealt with this issue it's clearly a bad design. Despite all the regular drainage maintenance the tube has been fitted with a kink and isn't long enough and keeps working loose. VW need to do better. I've got it booked in for them to inspect the issue and put it right.
Anyone else had enough of design issues like this?
