Hi all.

Have had a read of previous threads on the topic of double glazing, however haven't found the answer to my query yet! Hopefully the hive mind can help us out here.

A couple of weeks ago unfortunately our van (2012 62 plate T5.1) had a graze with the cap on top of a brick pillar on the school run. The upshot of this is that the offside sliding door glass and the offside rear quarter glass were damaged. Now, both of these are double glazed on our van - you can see the usual perforated aluminium strip between the panes.

Our van did not start life as a Cali, it has been converted by a previous owner. The glass all around the van is VW marked, but because the living area glass is not original to the VIN, I can't get the part numbers by the usual route of calling VW. So - National Windscreens are asking me to help them establish what part numbers to order from TPS, and I wondered if anyone on here who has the double glazed offside sliding door and quarter glass could DM me their reg number or VIN, so that I can get the part numbers for it.

I'd like to replace like for like. We have a privacy tint, however I do not know for sure if this is aftermarket or not - it definitely is on the kitchen window, as I can see the film, so I suspect I just need the green tinted double glazing panes (indeed, there may only be one option?). Some of the posts indicate the double glazing was standard on the SE model? Some posts also say their sliding door does not have double glazing. Ours does.

Finally, it needs a windscreen as well - so I am trying to get this all done at the same time. Presume there is only one spec of windscreen?

All help gratefully received. Many thanks.

Hi again folks. Just asking again if you can help me out with the above. National Windscreens chasing me for part numbers for the double glazed side glass. Many thanks!

Hi and thank you @KGCali . It's a Cali shell we think. So I think they are Cali SE double glazed windows rather than transporter windows. Not sure if that makes any difference to the advice above?

The pic in my profile shows the windows in question, if that helps? (rhs door and o/s/r quarter glass)
