In a California Ocean is there a way of disabling / stopping all the internal lights in the rear of the van coming on when the sliding door is opened?

I think camping mode will do this but I don't want all of the camping mode.

Thanks

Switches by the rear view mirror

Coincidentally, this morning I noticed the light around the bottom of the sink lip/cupboard was permanently on (whoops). I went into the camping screen > lights > and turned it off :)

It does, but you have to go back in every time you start the ignition to reset it.
I'd use @WelshGas suggestion

I tried using the switches but they failed to switch off the lighting around the sink unit/cupboard... Went to the camping screen - worked first time... It appeared to be a permanent solution - will keep an eye on it :)

No lights at all when I open the cab doors or sliding door on my T6. Super stealth mode… but does leave me fumbling around for the switches when it’s really dark!

Camping mode? I’m a new owner of a Cali and about to depart on a shakedown trip of a couple of nights. Not yet get to grips with the many features of the van, but camping mode is not something I’ve heard of. What and where is it, please?

It's in the camper control unit, above the rear view mirror

Make sure the passenger seat isn’t touching the switches by the end of the sink. I wondered why by leisure battery was going down until I was in the van in the dark and the cupboard lights were on!

Hi CraigG,
I believe the answer is no. If it is not used in "camping mode", then it "acts" as a car therefore the lights in the rear will always switch on (as every other car I suppose, for safety reason). Every time you lock and unlock your van, at least the 4 rear lights (2 above the kitchen and 2 above the sliding door at the rear) will always switch on.
The switch button near the rear view mirror is working only when in "car mode".
Hope it helps.
