Regarding the Crit'Air i'm about to apply, is it a matter of apply and wait / hope for it to arrive or is there a fast track option like some other documents? Once again, why didn't i apply when i first new about this.

I applied for mine and it arrived within 2 weeks, this was in April.
Even if the sticker doesn’t turn up in time you will have an email confirmation that you can show if requested so shouldn’t get a fine.
