Connecting an IPod

Does anyone know of any way I can connect a classic iPod into a GC600 (2024) audio system. I’m guessing the only way of doing it is by using the headphone jack on the iPod but I can’t find an AUX input to the infotainment system…

isn’t there a usb input? iPod charging cable to there? Would depend on iPod version, unfortunately akin to wiring up a record player to a car these days - Infotainment would be expecting CarPlay I suspect.

If that doesn’t work, a Bluetooth transmitter for iPod? Amazon would be your friend here.

I connect my iPod via Bluetooth but I have a T5 so may be different. Problems : not able to pause, if stop iPod have to turn engine off and on as need to get the right order of starting iPod turning on radio and stating engine. Otherwise when playing it works well. Just needs a bit of experimenting. iPod has Bluetooth does not need an additional adaptor.

I had a VW usb adapter lead that connected to the pins of an iPod, but was a 2012 T5.1. Was controlled via the head unit. Connection was the in the glovebox so out of sight.
