Similar to the Brandrup ISO-TOP.
This had been fitted to my 5.1. The canvas on my 6.1 keeps the inside much darker. I'm now using and external Cali-top when I need to keep the cold out.
Stays in place permanently when you raise or lower the pop top roof.
Provides complete blackout and improved sound insulation.
Fits California T5, 5.1, T6 + 6.1. it uses plastic tabs with velcro pushed into roof liner and velcro all around the base. Original full instructions and the bag it came in will be included. The tabs are included. About 10 metres of 25mm wide Velcro adhesive hook tape will be needed.
A couple of the plastic tabs were damaged in use. I made replacements using recycled plastic from a washer fluid bottle. Extra tabs can be easily made like that.
The liner was successfully washed in the machine, but there are a few faint mold spots - see pics. (Probably from not airing the roof properly). It might be possible to remove them with special cleaners, or you could cover them with with fabric paint.
You must have an external roof bungee fitted to make sure it closes properly. There is a little bit of tucking away needed to get the internal roof blind closed once the roof is down, but you soon get the hang of that.
