Hi all

We've had out T7 Ocean for a couple of weeks and completed a trial run to test all the featyures, setup the drive away awning etc. Really enjoyed the trip but noticed this annoying noise

When you pull off we hear this clunk clunk sound, from the rear, happens when you come to a stop and pull off. Thought it maybe the autohold feature but no, even with that turned off we still hear the noise

Sny ideas?

Had ours for 5 weeks, haven’t noticed anything similar although the auto hold would have been my first thought.

Do you have a tow ball fitted? Is that fully pushed back under?

It must be something loose.
Have you checked everything in the vehicle? Gas bottle strapped down?

I have this regularly as well. I have turned off the auto hold and it has reduced greatly. To my mind it is the brakes on the rear not releasing quickly enough. Mine is in for a service in June and I have asked them to investigate. I will report on what they say.

All, I have an update,

we were on our first proper trip away doing the NC500, stunning and well worth doing if you get the opportunity!

This annoying noise continued, only happened when pulling off in a forward direction, stop start driving was a complete pain.

We then noticed, purely by chance that when we parked up, locked the vehicle the side doors weren't locking, found out the hard way by opening the door, on a campsite, at night and triggering the alarm!

Tested the following day and sure enough, lock the van, mirrors folded in, front doors secure, both side doors could be opened.

In addition, the side doors (electric) would not open when using the remote and the handle button needed quite a hard squeeze to operate

When we got back from the NC500 booked into the dealer, they identified an issue with the side door locking system, this was the clunk clunk sound we were hearing. All fixed, doors operate from the remote, handle button no longer hard to squeeze and most importantly, all doors now lock. Unfortunately I didn't get an opportunity to ask what may have caused the issue but pleased all is as it should be.
