Clesana X1 Sealing Toilet

Thanks so much for posting the photo in situ, I’ve been looking at these with interest as an alternative to usual options. How are you finding it ?

Looks clever though expensive :

In simply terms how many ‘goes’ do you get from the refill bag(s) pack at £35 each.

PS second video above (added later) answers the 'goes' point, as does @Myrtille below.

Just been testing it a bit.
It’s very solid and well built. Constantly pulling it out of the cupboard may risk damaging the door runner over time. I’ve raised it up on a plastic tray to reduce this.

Draws a lot of power from the leisure batteries up to 7.6amps when the bag sealing takes place. Initially I had an error code which I think was related to undercharged batteries, I think it will not operate if there is not enough power.
It can however operate on 240v or an Einhell battery if needed.

When extended for use the height is the same as a standard toilet and very solid.

The bags are robustly sealed. I’m confident they will remain leek proof.

Agreed, very expensive (Swiss made)
You get two refills for £35 which gives 80 flushes using the medium size setting which seems adequate.

I’ll update this post if I have any other thoughts.

I really appreciate your first thoughts, good point about the door runner - I’m sure I read it is about 10kg, so a bit of a load to pull out. I like the idea of the Einhell battery and think that’s the route I will go to save on onboard power. I agree it’s expensive but it does look like a great bit of kit. Thanks again for your first thoughts.

No problem, any other questions, just ask. Will update if I have anything else to add.

Mine arrived today, thanks for the link I am glad I made a decision and bought it as LPG shop are now showing out of stock. I added the Einhell battery and now all set. I’m just getting used to the knack of lifting in and out of the cupboard. I’m thinking of adding the C1 liquid insert but it’s quite expensive for a plastic bucket.
