I assume the car has to be winched in and out. What could go wrong...Apparently so.

Just watched him load the Mini. Hydraulic door, a skip plate frame with rollers at the back is locked into the van. He had to help the frame out, it was sitting angled up at the front but the rails were a bit stiff while he let out the winch cable, think he locked it in the it position. Drive the mini up to the edge and winch it onto the skip plate. It went upto some chocks at the front of the frame, ratchet strap all wheels down. Move the winch hook to the frame and pull the whole assembly into the van and lock it into place.I assume the car has to be winched in and out. What could go wrong...
Wonder he didn't have a chauffeur or handyman to do that.Just watched him load the Mini. Hydraulic door, a skip plate frame with rollers at the back is locked into the van. It was big inside, can take just over 4m.
All himself, a really nice guy. Very enthusiastic about the Mini.Wonder he didn't have a chauffeur or handyman to do that.
Photo of the mini? (I’m a Cali driver but my first two cars were Morris Minis, so I hope that asking for a post of a mini on this forum is acceptable given this context)Just watched him load the Mini. I thought he should have had a porche 911 in there or a VW Beatle. The Mini was incredible, the last modern chassis available for a mini with a vintage top attched. So it looked very old but all the running gear was up to the job.
The more you look at it the more you notice the interest design features. I hadn’t noticed the rear overhang. Would love to had a proper look round but someone was sat in it. I am guessing they don’t have a MOT equivalent.Very questionable rear overhang, looks about 100% of the weelbase. I wonder what it is like to drive, especially on tight corners in narrow streets although I guess that this type of vehicle is not driven in those sorts of places and I assume that the designers knew what they were doing.
Yes please.
Looks cool and Mario go-karty to meYes please.
If I ever outgrow my Cali this is what would replace it. Maybe some bigger boots, as those look comical.
Does it fit under a 2m barrier and a 4.9m parking space, I wonderView attachment 136792
Spotted this impressive rig in Salem, USA…very interesting roof line especially the overcab area which is angled downward for added aerodynamics!

The driver’s position reminds me of a WW2 bomber cockpit. I like
https://sylvanianfamilies.co.uk/products/countryside-camper I have found this model of the van.Google image search would suggest to me that it's a RAF-977DM, a face-lift version of the 977:
