Hello All,
I've recently bought a 2013 T5.1 with the CFCA engine and the "C" model EGR (fitted sometime after June 2015). I have not noted it using excessive oil or having any other symptoms yet, but I would like to avoid the engine destruction from happening. I have had the EGR delete done on the ECU, so that it is not being used (always shut). My understanding is that I now need to bypass the EGR cooler using an L-shape pipe coupler the same as in the Darkside EGR Cooler Delete kit.
Has anyone done this and is able to guide me on how to go about it best? Or is it a job for my local garage to do?
I'm not a total novice when it comes to car maintenance, having modified off roaders in the past, but the last thing I want to do is get it wrong or waste loads of time if there is a relatively simple way to do it.
Thanks in advance!
