Bruges or Ghent to stay for 5 day trip or any where else in the region

Have a look at urban gardens in Ghent and also Ypres. We’ve stayed in both and they’re conveniently close to the centre, Ypres much more so.

To update in case anyone finds this recommendation. Don’t stay at the Ypres one….theres some weird construction/destruction going on at night that is incredibly noisy. Bizarre how it’s allowed here.
